In fact, the UK now lags behind only the U.S. in shopping online. "Our report shows that online selling is a real and viable strategy for growing total business revenue," said an analyst from Ernst & Young, the firm that just completed a study of Brit cybershopping preferences. So what products should the ambitious e-merchant consider selling to the bangers-and-mash crowd? Books, CDs, and computer equipment seem to be the best options. Hey, I guess we aren't that different from our old colonial masters after all.
