For the love of British ale

Site: http://www.camra.org.uk

Although the revolution in the appreciation of beer has been most dramatic in the United States, you could argue the revolution started in Britain in the 1970s when the consumer group called the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) began its vocal potests against the growing uniformity of beers. The organization is 50,000 strong and just as loud today. Its members raise their glasses to toast good beer, but are also quick to protest high-priced pints and brewery takeovers. The site is rich with news about beer in England, information about festivals, where to find "real ale" and plenty more.
