A web page might not look like much, but when you're looking for the applet that will do the trick, who cares? As long as it is organized in a way that you can find what you need, you're set. That is the kind of experience you are likely to encounter when you enter the Java section at Script Search, which calls itself "The World's Largest CGI Library." With over 5,000 scripts for various programming languages, this resource is one to keep on hand for easy reference. Applets from soup to nuts, and online forums are the hot spots on this site. Not all of these applets are free, though many are, and some of the links I tried did not work, but with so many on file (like 458 items for Visual Effects alone), you have a good chance of lucking out.
