Top » Entertainment: TVso much potential, such short livesSite: http://www.eonline.com/Features/Topten/CanceledshowsThere was only one new show this season that I made a special effort to tune into. I was addicted; each Thursday, you'd find me becoming one with my TV set, fully immersed in the lives of Peter, Wendy, Adam, and the rest of the Hollywood slimeballs oozing from the orifices of La La Land. Yes, folks, my favorite new show was FOX's "Action," and I think you know how this tale ends: tragically. "Action" was canceled after a few glorious months. This is not the first time that the pinhead programmers in TV land actually let a quality show slip on the air, only to realize their mistake and yank it off faster than you can say "My So-Called Life." Here, E!Online profiles the Top 10 Aborted TV Shows of the last few decades, offering memorium to those short-lived but long-remembered gems like the aforementioned Jay Mohr showcase. Some of TV's best may be deader than a doornail, but E! gives them one last gasp in this touching tribute. Don't miss it. Fri, 21 Jan 2000 07:21:11 -0800
