good news from the radio front

Site: http://www.wired.com/news/technology/0,1282,33790,00.html

With stories about internet innovations and high-definition YV dominating news coverage of media events, it seems that the granddaddy of them all, radio, has slipped from our collective consciousness. So I was happy to come across this interesting article in Wired.com. This week, U.S. federal regulators gave the OK to a new class of low-power FM stations. This means that micro-broadcasters, such as schools and small community organizations, will be able to maintain their presence over the nation's airwaves. Good news, I say; check Wired for the whole scoop.
