Turn on the Power

If you grew up in the '70s, the expression "Heeeeey yoooooou guuuuuuuys..." probably evokes a nostalgic feeling for you. That greeting welcomed viewers to "The Electric Company," PBS's frenetic grammar and math educational program. Part "Sesame Street," part "Laugh-In," the show featured such memorable characters as Fargo North Decoder and Easy Reader and relied on an ensemble cast that included Rita Moreno and Morgan Freeman.
