German made Simple

Site: http://www.winepage.de

Germany makes some of the world's best white wines, but too few of us buy them. The labels confuse us. We can't tell TBA from QBA, or a grosslage from an einzelIage or differentiate between trocken, halbtrocken and trockenbeerenauslese. So I was delighted to find Peter Ruhrbergs Wines of Germany site where all is made clear. If you want to know anything about German wine then this site is a must. Peter decodes the labels, spills the truth about Liebraumilch and poses the question "What's wrong with German wine?" This is a cracking site. And guess what? Since my visit I have bought a Riesling, my first German wine since Blue Nun in my teens.
