John Dvorak's Zinfandel on the Web focuses on red California wines made from Zinfandel. It concentrates on tasting notes that pull no punches and scathing winery reviews, concluding that "most Zinfandel sold today is undrinkable crap." There are some general articles, including a thought provoking demolition of the 100-point marking system popularized by Parker. The site's design is clear and fresh-looking in blue and yellow with an artistic ZOW logo. However, the site would benefit from more frequent updates. A worthwhile stopping point for those who, like me, love Zin and want to read more than soapy PR pieces.
