other tall ship prose: aboard the rose

In the first story on this website, Doug Whitman describes his experience on the Rose, a sailing vessel on which people on board work for their vacation. He seemed to enjoy the "roughing it" approach, and the photo he got using Kite Aerial Photography must have made it all the more worth it. Joe Pellegrino, author of the poem "Six Weeks vs. Six Hours: Why am I Here?" seems more ambivalent.
