Merlot: Yes, it is Yummy & I’m not Ashmed to Drink it
Recent movies have Merlot bashing scenes and it may have become too popular for its own good. But I still like more than half the merlots I try and that’s not bad. Excess demand may have resulted in some watery or overly sweet bottles. I have had some great Australian Merlots and some good Californian Merlots as well. I recently took a risk and bought an Australian Merlot from WholeFoods, bargain price. I haven’t popped the cork yet.
