Michael Jackson Mistrial

The judge presiding over the Michael Jackson child molestation case ruled a mistrial before the start of opening arguments.

Judge Rodney Melville ruled in favor of Jackson’s defense attorney’s claim that the panel of 4 men and 8 women was not a jury of the pop icon’speers.

The judge came to his conclusion after lengthy interviews with the panel revealed the jury was unsure whether Jackson was black or white. Yet all agreed that the millionaire hip hop artist was weird.

“Since no juror claimed to be a racially androgynous weirdo I had no choice than to rule that Mr. Jackson’s right to a fair trial was compromised,” the judge explained.

At this stage it is uncertain whether the prosecutor will proceed with a new trial.

“Frankly the chances of finding a bunch of people who live on large estates with animals, is remote,” the district attorney handling the case noted.
