Disney President Robert Iger to Replace Michael Eisner as CEO according to the Wall Street Journal and the NY Times. How will the appointment of current Disney President Robert Iger as CEO impact the stock price on Monday? My guess is there won’t be much movement. After all it is an internal move and he was considered the most likely candidate. I never considered Meg Whitman as a real candidate anyway. It was reported that Meg Whitman withdrew her candidacy on Friday, but the main reason I didn’t see the fit is that Whitman is doing a great job at eBay and if she left the stock would take a pounding and she owns billions of eBay stock. It just wouldn’t work out fiscally.
