There is a possible solution to the Schiavo case that’s been overlooked amid the heated moral, legal and political arguments: a negotiated settlement.
Sadly a family dispute has turned into a national drama. Yet if there’s one thing that both the husband and the parents can agree on surely it’s their love for Terri Schiavo. In the hands of a skilled negotiator, say Senator Mitchell, their love could be used to find a way to satisfy both sides and to honor Mrs. Schiavo’s life.

This is a terrible thing to happen in our country…a woman was starved to death because she wasn’t “working” anymore. All that about her being “freed” is bullcrap. That’s God’s decision, not ours.

Listen, life in my opinion should be all natural, and if one has to depend on a machine to live, in my opinion, that is wrong. Everyone has a time to go, and if we attempt to extend that time by hooking someone up to a machine(feeding tube) then we are going against God’s set time for us.
