We want to make doing good by consuming content fun. So, we built a “Good Points” system. Unlike the back end points system we use to allocate where the 50 percent of net advertising revenue goes, we want to reward you with points for behaviors that may not have a direct revenue/donation impact, but are good deeds, and/or deserve “Good Points.” The things that drive Good Points for launch include consumption of content and successful social sharing, and also social behaviors, or other behaviors that benefit our advertisers, causes or the world at large.
