Google’s parent company to use AI to make Internet more LGBT-friendly

Google’s parent company, Alphabet, is using an AI to make the Internet safer for LGBT individuals, reports Market Watch.

Artificial intelligence currently has limited understanding of the LGBT community and its needs, especially the need to be represented. Algorithms associated with LGBT people are far more often negative than other algorithms.

For this reason, Alphabet is training companies that design artificial intelligences and helping them to be more understanding and respectful towards LGBT differences.

LGBT youth today face a problem much like the problems people of certain races and ethnicities face: a lack of representation. With more inclusive AIs, LGBT individuals will have fair representation.
